Detachable Smaller Barrel: The Plus’ oval head is 61mm wide and designed to create more volume (The Original Oval head is 70mm wide). The Plus also is detachable to allow for easier storage.
Handle size: The Plus has a slimmer and sleeker handle that offers greater control over styling.
Barrel material: The barrel on the Plus is made of ceramic titanium tourmaline technology that works to give you less damage with 50% less heat exposure as well as provide smoother glide, silkier results, and a consistent drying and styling experience. The Original contains a ceramic coating that helps protect hair from over-styling with even heat distribution. In addition to the barrel material, the Plus has charcoal-infused nylon pins and tufted bristles.
Heat settings: The Plus has 4 heat/speed setting compared to the Originals 3 heat/speed settings. An additional heat setting (medium) is found on the Plus.
